Gold Price- Lying Down

World gold prices last week showed the trend of declines with a strengthening U.S. $ GeraiDinar.com indicated on the dashboard with U.S. $ Index. Currently the index is above 80 in number than two weeks ago that around 79.

If I use technical analysis of StockChart as well as graphs (click on the chart let me first look bigger), it is purely based on statistical analysis of the trend is the strengthening of U.S. $ will be able to take up to several weeks ahead. If you follow the previous pattern of this trend will then be able to reach the range of 83 - view large circle marks on the graph.

We know the world gold price in U.S. $ inversely with the power of U.S. $, so when the U.S. $ trend was strengthened - the world gold price in U.S. $ decreased. Roughly from the graph can be predicted that if the U.S. $ index reached 83, world gold prices will be below U.S. $ 900/oz. This course if all things being equal - ceteris paribus.

Manage Your Money Based on Its Functions

In economic theory, money has three functions: as a Medium of Exchange, a Store of Value and a Unit of Account.  These three functions should be attached to the money that we use, but the use of paper money it can not fulfill these three functions at once. Paper money only serves as a tool optimally Medium of Exchange or Exchange. As a Store of Value, its value eroded by inflation over time. Because of rapidly declining in value is the paper money can not consistently used as a Unit of Account. If you have a house that you bought 10 years ago worth USD 400 million; without renovation even now worth over USD 1 billion you really lucky? where's the point? This apparent advantage occurs because the bias unit of account you use.

Money Gold / Silver Dinar or / Dirham actually thousands of years of history can play the three functions of money perfectly. However, due to the regime last 85 years using only paper money - and even last through 27 years of prohibiting the use of IMF gold as a reference currency; the Gold / Dinar and Silver / Dirham we can not enable it as money in the sense Tool Swap or Medium of Exchange optimally.

Stock Selections Criterions

The objective of stock selection criteria is to: (1) maximize the total return on investment (appreciation plus any dividends received) for the targeted holding period (2) limit risk (according to an individual's risks tolerance levels) (3) maintain an appropriate degrees of portfolio diversification.

Stock selection criteria are methods for selecting a stock(s) for investment. The stock investment or position can be "long" (to benefit from a stock price increase) or "short" (to benefit from a decrease in a stock's price), depending on the investor's expectation of how the stock price is going to move. The stock selection criteria may include systematic stock picking methods that utilize computer software and/or data.

Gold Investment

How Invest in Gold?
For long time around of the world, of all the precious metals, gold is the most popular as an investment. Investors generally buy gold as a hedge or safe haven against any economic, political, social or currency-based crises. These crises include investment market declines, burgeoning national debt, currency failure, inflation, war and social unrest. Investors also buy gold early in a bull market and aim to sell it before a bear market begins, in an attempt to gain financially.
Gold has been used throughout history as a form of payment and has been a relative standard for currency equivalents specific to economic regions or countries. Many European countries implemented gold standards in latter part of the 19th century until these were dismantled in the financial crises involving World War I. After World War II, the Bretton Woods system pegged the United States dollar to gold at a rate of US$35 per troy ounce. The system existed until the 1971 Nixon Shock, when the US unilaterally suspended the direct convertibility of the United States dollar to gold.

Factors influencing the gold price

Today, like all investments and commodities, the price of gold is ultimately driven by supply and demand. Unlike most other commodities, the hoarding and disposal plays a much bigger role in affecting the price, because most of the gold ever mined still exists and is potentially able to come on to the market for the right price. At the end of 2006, it was estimated that all the gold ever mined totaled 158,000 tonnes. This can be represented by a cube with an edge length of just 20.2 meters.

Gold Price is fluctuate but its intrinsic value is stable along decade. So, gold is suitable for long term investments.

FOREX - What is Forex?

FOREX  means foreign exchange market also known as FX, or currency market.
Forex  is a worldwide decentralized  financial market for the trading of currencies. Financial centers around the world function as anchors of trading between a wide range of different types of buyers and sellers around the clock, with the exception of weekends.

As an instrument of investment,  the foreign exchange market allows businesses to convert one currency to another foreign currency. For example, it permits a U.S. business to import European goods and pay Euro even though the business's income is in USD. Some experts, however, believe that the unchecked speculative movement of currencies by large financial institutions such as hedge funds impedes the markets from correcting global current account imbalances. This carry trade may also lead to loss of competitiveness in some countries.
